Biocon(Japan)ltd. was established and registerd to a local law office with the paid capital of 5,0000,000 yen, as the 8th overseas subsidiary company of Biocon Ltd. in Ireland.
Biocon(Japan) became a part of Quest group and became responsible for in Japan Quest own food ingredient product business, too, in addition to Biocon own such existing product business as food ingredients, pharmaceutical raw materials, feed additives, cosmetic raw materials and diagnostic kits.

Bought back all Biocon(Japan)'s stock which Quest held. and became totally an independent company from Quest in terms of capital, though business with Quest has continued as it was.
Biocon(Japan) became newly a member of Marigot group.
Acquired the import certification of JAS Organic.
The place of business moved to Showabashi-dori, Nakagawa-ku, Nagoya.
The new warehouse as well as food machinery center was opened in Showabashi-dori, too.
